Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year is the world’s most prestigious business award for business visionaries
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (May 10, 2010) - ANX, a leading provider of networking and security managed services, today announced that Rich Stanbaugh, president and CEO of ANX, has been named a Finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 Regional Awards. Focusing on the Michigan and Northwest Ohio Region, the award honors the most outstanding entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.
Judging criteria for the Entrepreneur of the Year award includes an assessment of ANX financial performance, strategic direction and product or service innovation, company leadership including personal integrity, values and key employee initiatives, and community involvement. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program celebrates its 24th anniversary this year. The program has expanded to recognize business leaders in over 135 cities in 50 countries throughout the world. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 10, 2010 at the Ritz Carlton in Dearborn, Michigan.
Beginning his career at ANX in October 2000, Mr. Stanbaugh was appointed president and CEO of ANX in April 2005. His leadership and commitment to value helped ANX to continue growing throughout the very challenging circumstances facing the North American automotive industry. Mr. Stanbaugh found ways to preserve value in ANX’s core managed network services business while transforming the company from an automotive sector extranet service provider to a multi-sector managed security services provider. Completing six acquisitions since 2006, ANX has become a technology leader in the delivery of secure data content.
“I feel very honored to be nominated as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Award in the Michigan and Northwest Ohio Region,” said Rich Stanbaugh, president and CEO of ANX. “I share this nomination with the entire ANX team. We all feel very proud to be included as finalist with the other accomplished nominees.”
