Sales Administrator

Reports To:

VP, Human Resources

Position Purpose:

The ANX Sales Administrator will carry out the administrative and support functions of a sales department. While the frontline sales executives and managers take care of the sales function of the organization the sales administrator provides the much needed support to ease pressure. When many tasks are taken care of by sales administrators, sales executives can concentrate on their main job and achieve better results. This position is the vital links between the sales staff and the customers.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES


Essential functions/duties of the position:

  • Organize and Track calendars.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports.
  • Manage Travel Schedule including air, hotel & ground transportation.
  • Work with various internal & external resources to gather and disseminate customer information.
  • Compose letters, memos and other correspondence on routine & confidential matters.
  • Provide back-up clerical support within ANXeBusiness.
  • Answer customer queries and explain to them about products.
  • Prepare reports, sales brochures, price lists, discount offers and other sale documents.
  • Send communications to prospects and customers via appropriate communication channels.
  • Send quotations and proposals to prospects.
  • Track critical dates and inform sales executives and managers as needed.
  • Provide weekly Sales Force activity reports by functional area.
  • Arrange for sales meetings on the advice of the sales manager or director.
  • Perform sales duties and sell successfully when sales representatives are away on calls
  • Manage contract renewals with sales team.
  • Research new and existing customers and populate sales planning templates.

Other responsibilities/accountabilities (marginal functions):

  • Support executive admin for CFO and President with associated projects

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Detailed, quality work with all administrative tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience with SalesForce preferred.
  • Ability to deal with sales teams and customers.
  • Knowledge of accounts or strong numerical skills. Ability to calculate well.
  • Possess good business acumen.
  • Exhibit professionalism while dealing with tough internal as well as external customers.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or an associate degree in business with sales administration experience.
